About me
I can remember when I was in kindergarten on a field trip. We went to my teacher’s family farm to look at the animals and any other excitements a farm has to offers. My most vivid memory was at the swing. On the side of the house there was a huge swing that looked like a large box hanging from a tree. A bunch of friends and I could all fit on it at once. Probably a lot more than could now, considering we were only about 5 years old.
While swinging on the swing, my mind was working hard making up a story for the situation. My imagination was going crazy, as it often does. I can’t remember even a tiny piece of the story I was mustering up, but one thought I had on that swing has stayed with me ever since. “I’m going to be a writer.”
Throughout my life, I have remained interesting in many forms of writing. I’ve written stories, poems, essays, and articles. My interests have come and gone, and my career goals have evolved, but no matter what I become, an accountant, a pharmacist, or something else, I know I will always write.
One thing that I both love and hate about myself is the passion I have for anything I do. I love that I have the dedication and drive to learn everything I can about something. The problem is that I block everything else in my life out and, after a month or so, my passion for the moments “passion” dies and I move on, abandoning all that hard work.
I guess I really can’t say I completely abandon everything I’ve ever been passionately interested. I like to think I still carry some passion for everything I’ve ever loved, and writing is one of them. I have spent hours and days reading and writing as well as learning and studying writing. I’ve researched and taken classes about creative writing, writing all sorts of fiction, journaling, and everything writing.
I am here to tell you everything I’ve learned about writing. I think it’s important to share my knowledge to those who were like me, always searching for information on writing. Also, I want to share it with anyone who has a dream to write, enjoys writing from time to time, and even those who love to read. When you know how to write, you can enjoy reading that much more.
In this website, I will share my knowledge, inspiration, ideas, and hopefully develop a community of writers and readers who truly enjoy what they do and always want to do it better. You can use it as a resource as well as an enjoyable read.
Whatever ever you choose, I hope you will find this to be a great place for everything creative writing. Creative writing is my passion, and I hope it’s yours, too!
