Journaling as a Form of Therapy and Stress Relief
When you are at the most difficult times in your life, or even just during the small problems, the best way to deal with it is to talk it out. The problem is that often, at these times, you don’t have someone to talk to that you trust, or the issue is to personal to talk with someone else.
Journaling should never be a replacement for professional therapy, but it can still be a great way to work through the tough times in your life. It’s easy. All you have to do is write out your feelings and frustrations. You let your emotions flow through your pen.
Journaling can also help you relieve stress. If you have too much on your plate and a lot on your mind, escape your busy life and just write. The idea is to get lost in your writing. It’s more than just relaxing because you are completely taking your mind off your stress in order to think about your writing.
Journaling for stress relief or therapy has no “how-to” instructions. You don’t have to make a decision that you will journal to relieve stress or as therapy. Just keep writing…
